Australian Anglers Association, (WA Division) Inc.
Clubs Affiliated with AAA WA
The Australian Anglers Association (WA Division) Inc., is an association of Western Australian angling clubs, which promotes club
angling as a sport and recreation for everyone.
This page will give details of the Clubs affiliated with the Australian Anglers Association, links to their web sites if they
have one, a description of the Club and it's activities, timetables of coming events, results from past events, photos from
club or member's activities, how to contact the club, etc.
Information will only be put on this page or into "Club Stories" if the club wants it published. It's up to the club to decide
what is published. We wouldn't normally publish any personal details, except possibly details such as "Fred Xxxx caught a 3kg
fish", but we'd only publish what the club provides, unless it's at a AAA event when we would write up the event and the results
under the AAA pages.
In effect, the Association is offering the affiliated clubs a chance to have their own mini web site at no cost to the club, other
than the cost of collecting and sending us the information to put on.
Within reason, any information and photos the club supplies can be put into these pages, if it fits with the general aims of the
Association. Of course, there is the fine print along the lines of "we don't guarantee to publish everything; we reserve the right
not to publish or to edit some material; we can't publish material which is copyright by anyone else without their permission in
writing, etc".
We have to be careful with photos, because sometimes they or the background show things which might be misunderstood, and might be
thought not fit in with good angling or environmental codes of conduct. For example, a photo taken on a beach might show someone
else's vehicle in a place where it shouldn't be, a good catch of fish might look like too much for one person, etc. But we might
be able to cut the image (electronically not physically) so that it is OK.
As an example of what could be included, see the examples in the links below.

The Offshore Angling Club Beach website was not available from early August 2008 when a change of internet plan type removed the website without the club being informed of this consequence of the change of plan. From 10 Jan 2009, the club now has a new URL and web host for the club website.
