The Australian Angler's Association (WA Division) organised a shore based Angling Clinic on 8 January 2003, just in time to prepare for the 2003 Sunsmart Mandurah 500 Family Fishing Promotion

Learn:- What - Where - Why - How - When about fishing in the Mandurah area for the eight species eligible for the Sunsmart Mandurah 500 Family Fishing Promotion.

Prepared by experts from the Mandurah Community.

When:- Wednesday 8 January 2003.

Venue:- Mandurah Offshore Fishing and Sailing Club.

Time:- 9.30am to 12 noon.

Entry Fee:- $2 Child, $5 Adults, $3 Concession.

Raffle ----- Give away spot prizes.

Any clinic participant who also entered the Mandurah 500 was eligible for special prizes at the Mandurah 500. Keep your clinic entry ticket.

Sunsmart Mandurah 500 Family Fishing Promotion, 11/12 January 2003.

Entry forms and rules for the Mandurah 500 were available from your Tackle Shop during December, 2002, or at the Registration and Sign on at Mandurah Offshore Fishing and Sailing Club, on Saturday 11 January from 10:00am to 4:00pm.

This promotion was open to all members of the public.

Main Prizes for the Mandurah 500:-

There were also valuable prizes for the heaviest of species caught by Open, Ladies and Junior entrants.
