Australian Anglers Association Rules.

The Australian Anglers Association has rules under which it runs its competitions.

At the time of preparing this page, and preparing the details on the following linked pages, the Association Rules are under review. These copies of the rules have been scanned from paper copies and thus are shown as draft rules, because they still need some additions and need to be checked.

Some of these are not approved official versions. Please contact us before using any part of, or information from, these and following pages.

Draft General By Laws 1995 (or Competition Rules.) (being rewritten)

Draft General Competition Rules Incorporating March, 2000 Federal Executive Meeting resolutions, for the conduct of Australian Angling Association Angling and Casting competitions, to be observed at all National Championships unless varied by resolution of the Federal Executive.

The Dry Casting Competition is run under the Dry Casting Rules for AAA, (WA Division) Inc. This version was adopted at the October 2007 AAA WA Delegates' Meeting

Estuary, Rock and Beach events are run under the Competition Rules for State Rock & Beach and Estuary Events (102 kilobyte PDF file). This version was adopted at the April 2005 AAA WA Delegates' Meeting and amended at the August 2005 Delegates' meeting.

The eligible species for these Estuary, Rock and Beach events are in the List of Eligible Species for West Coast (26 kilobyte PDF file), and List of Eligible Species for South Coast (26 kilobyte PDF file)

The Association operates under the AAA Constitution and expects the entrants in its events to abide by a Recreational Fishing Code of Conduct.

This Recreational Fishing Code of Conduct gives a guide to doing the right thing when fishing, travelling, camping, etc.

There is not anything in this list which is hard for you to do, just things we are sure you would like everyone else to do too. Even though these are easy, they are very important.
