The Australian Anglers Association, (WA Division) runs the Western Australian State Dry Casting Championships each year.
The 2001/2002 Championships were conducted at Yokine Reserve on 28 October 2001, with fine sunny conditions prevailing and a
moderate crosswind travelling right to left, across the competition lanes and later in the day the wind had a little slight following angle to it in the gusts.
