The Australian Anglers Association, (WA Division) runs the Western Australian State Dry Casting Championships each year.

The 2002/2003 Championships were conducted at Yokine Reserve on 27 October 2002.

Ben Lilburne (Junior)	157.00 metres (112 gram).	New Junior State Record !
Joe Pullella	185.01 metres (112 gram).
George Holman	176.66 metres (112 gram).
Hoy Hew (Veteran)	157.73 metres (112 gram).
Don Batchelor (Veteran)	144.81 metres (112 gram).
Filomena D'Alonzo (Lady)	109.80 metres (112 gram).
Joe Pullella	145.51 metres (56 gram).
Bob Henderson (Veteran)	136.00 metres (56 gram).
